The Regis School of the Sacred Heart offers a full fine arts program to all our students. Beginning in early childhood and continuing through fifth grade, students are offered weekly visual arts and music classes. Additionally, lower school students participate in monthly art appreciation lessons through our Art à la Carte program.
Weekly visual art instruction continues each year through eighth grade. Sixth through eighth grade students also spend one in-depth trimester each focusing on technology, drama, and music. This more intensive focus allows students to further develop their technical skills and knowledge as well as discover new talents.
As an important part of developing well-rounded scholars and gentlemen, Regis’ arts faculty is uniquely equipped to build on the cultural strengths of our all-boy population. Using specialized instruction and carefully selected subject matter, they capture and ignite boys’ natural interest in self-expression.
