Prepare the child for the path,
not the path for the child.

Welcome to the intriguing world of Early Childhood where young minds begin their journey to learning through their adventures of curiosity, discovery, imagination, play, and hands-on with age appropriate activities.

I am Linda Falco, Coordinator of Early Childhood, whose career as an educator spans more than 35 years of teaching in both private and public schools, with 28 years of them spent in Kindergarten.  In 1991 when Regis was founded, I became its first kindergarten teacher.  Since that time, I have continued to serve in various capacities as a Religion teacher and as a Division Head.

The faculty, their assistants and I, in our ministry to children, know the importance of the Early Childhood years.  It is where the exciting educational journey begins and where young children learn to love school.  Our goal is always to generate an excitement about learning in the children we teach.  As Sacred Heart educators, we teach from our hearts to encourage the formation of strong, compassionate young persons. It is our mission to develop students who become independent thinkers accountable for their actions and responsibilities and confident enough to believe in themselves.

Regis provides a nurturing, structured and safe learning environment where your sons are respected for all of their God-given talents. The baby steps that enhance a positive self-image encourage confidence to face challenges with successful outcomes.  We want your young son to be a long-life learner who enjoys school.

My Regis years have brought me many fond memories of many little boys, and I am looking forward to many more.  Your sons have touched my heart, and I hope a little of my heart remains with each of them.  Early Childhood is the start of your son’s journey to becoming a Regis scholar and a gentleman.

In closing, I reflect on the following:

A child is like a butterfly in the wind.
Some can fly higher than others.
Each one fliesthe best it can .
Why compare one against the other?
Each one is different
Each one is special.
 Each one is beautiful.
