Varsity Basketball Team Makes History

The Regis School Knights Varsity Basketball Team was crowned the new champion of the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association on Saturday, March 1. The Knights defeated the St. Laurence Saints at Strake Jesuit College Preparatory’s gym in a hard-fought contest, ending in a score of 70-68. This was the first time Regis made it to the finals and won. Led by Coach Rodney Villadiego, the Knights ended the season with a 36 to 2 overall record.
