Regis Goes Country

The boys of The Regis School kicked off the Rodeo season early with a visit from Pat Gavin, a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Speaker’s Committee, on Friday, February 22. Students from 3 Pre-K through fourth grade gathered for the Regis Spirit Day assembly to enjoy an early introduction to this year’s Rodeo. Mr. Gavin, dressed in his cowboy’s finest, taught the boys how to yodel like traditional country singers and regaled them with his humorous country western songs.

As part of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Speaker’s Committee, Gavin helps to promote the Rodeo by providing presentations, entertainment and programs for schools and other organizations.
