Q: What is special about working at an all-boys school?

A: Teaching at an all-boys school is full of energy, curiosity, and humor. I love seeing them learn grow, and form strong bonds, while guiding them to build confidence, creativity, and resilience every day. They make every moment lively, engaging, and full of fun.

Q: What is your favorite place on campus?

A: My favorite place on campus would have to be the playground—it’s where I see the boys’ imaginations come alive. Making acorn pie in the sand, pretending the slides are rocket ships, or giggling as they run with their friends—it’s always full of so much joy.

Q: What was the best advice you ever received?

A:“For life’s ups and downs and everything in between…A cup of hot tea and a Hail Mary.” —Linda Falco

Q: What have you learned from your students?

A: My students teach me something new every day—how to stay curious, laugh at my mistakes (learn from those mistakes), and notice the little joys all around me. They remind me daily that learning isn’t just about facts, it’s about connection, creativity, and lots of fun.

Q: What was the first concert you attended?

A: Willie Nelson Fourth of July Picnic in 1979.

Q: If you could travel back in time to live, what period of history would you choose?

A: To a time when my dad and all my siblings were still here, simply laughing and talking around the table. Oh, how I cherish those memories.

Q: What do you admire most about your colleagues?

A: What I admire most about my colleagues is how supportive and fun they are. We lift each other up, celebrate successes, and step in to help whenever someone needs it. Being around them makes even the hardest days brighter. They inspire me, challenge me, and truly make me want to be better in every way.

Q: Name the best item or gadget you purchased from Amazon?

A: I am not a big “online” shopper but…I did find a mini light up disco ball that I sometimes carry in my purse. (My friends never know when it might appear during a dinner out!)
