Learning

The school curricular and co-curricular programs integrate innovation and collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving, the exploration of emerging technology and critical evaluation of information.

Sacred Heart Goal II, Criteria 4

Age-appropriate technology is accessible and integrated into each classroom at Regis.

Students also utilize technology in MakerSpace in Early Childhood and Lower School and in the Middle School technology program.

I really enjoy all the energy the boys bring to the classroom and the rewarding challenge of engaging their minds. Seeing them learn and explore new concepts brings such joy.  Having a successful lesson in an all-boys classroom involves a lot of movement and interactive experiences. The boys here help me grow as an educator each and every day!

MakerSpace Teacher

Working with boys allows me to think outside of the box and stretch my teachings far beyond the four walls of my classroom. There are a so many fun activities our school and staff implement to meet the needs of teaching a school of boys. Worms, lightsabers, hot wheels, and legos, are all parts of our daily hands-on activities and I wouldn't be able to do that anywhere else.

I love the passion, excitement and energy of boys. I can always count on them to jump for joy when I say we are going to play a math game or do a science experiment. They have such a playful spirit and love of learning, and are sponges that soak up fun facts and information.
