Early Childhood (Pre-K3 through Pre-K4)

Step One

Step Two

Completed Teacher Recommendation Form (if currently attending a preschool). The form must be submitted directly through the admissions portal. Email Jen Lahad with any questions. If your child is not currently enrolled in preschool or Mother's Day Out, please send an email to jlahad@theregisschool.org to have this requirement waived.
Pre-K4 candidates must take the WPPSI (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence). The report will be sent directly to Regis. Please schedule through CATS Texas.
Birth Certificate: a child applying to Pre-K3 must be three years old by July 1 of the applied for year. A child applying to Pre-K4 must be four years old by July 1 of the applied for year. Students applying for Early Childhood must be fully potty trained prior to the start of the school year.
Baptismal Certificate (if baptized in the Catholic church)
Student Visit: all Pre-K applicants are expected to attend a small group screening. The visit is held in a Pre-K classroom for all same-age applicants and lasts approximately an hour. Early Childhood Screening will be held in February 2027. Please login to the Veracross Admissions portal and sign up for your preferred screening day and time.
Immunization Records (links found on the online application checklist)

Lower School (Kindergarten through Fourth Grade)

Admissions testing: WPPSI/WISC test results are required for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade applicants. Regis applicants will take the WPPSI/WISC administered by CATS, Collaborative Academic Testing Services. Please select Regis as a preferred school when you register for the test. Scores should be submitted before January 30.

Step Two

Completed Teacher Recommendation Form: a completed Teacher Recommendation Form is required for all applicants currently attending school. The form must be submitted directly through the admissions portal. Email Jen Lahad with any questions.

Transcript/Report card from Current School (Grades K-8)
Student visit
- All Kindergarten applicants are expected to attend a small group screening. The visit will be held in a Kindergarten classroom for all same-age applicants and lasts approximately an hour and a half. Kindergarten Screening will be held in February 2027. Please login to the Veracross Admissions portal and sign up for your preferred screening day and time. Detailed visit information will be sent via email prior to visit.
- All First through Fourth Grade applicants will be required to shadow visit in January/February. All applicants must have a completed emergency contact form and an updated immunization record on file with the Office of Enrollment Management before their school visit. Please login to the Veracross Admissions portal and sign up for your preferred shadow day and time. Detailed visit information will be sent via email prior to visit.

Middle School (Fifth through Eighth Grade)

Admissions Testing: Fifth through Eighth Grade applicants are required to take the ISEE {school code: 447571}. There are opportunities for applicants to take these exams at home or through a Prometric testing site. Scores should be submitted before January 30.

When all application components are submitted, the student file is reviewed, and notifications are sent in March. After the January 15, 2027 deadline, you are still welcome to apply. Your child's application will be considered depending upon space availability. Please reach out to our admission office to discuss your options.
