Early Childhood Athletics

Both Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 students participate in daily P.E. class. Pre-K4 students have the opportunity to play team sports as well.

Participation, Collaboration & Social Development

The athletics program in Early Childhood provides opportunities for boys in Pre-K4 to participate in school-sponsored athletics teams. All boys who wish to participate are welcomed onto a parent volunteer-led team. Early Childhood athletics focus on the development and formation of the Five Sacred Heart Goals in each player. Boys learn how to approach competition with passion, grace and humility; how to work as part of a team; and how to practice good sportsmanship.

The program in Pre-K4 emphasizes physical, mental and social development for athletes and coaches alike. Each player has the opportunity to develop his self-esteem in a fun, collaborative and competitive environment. The program at this level also allows for equal playing time for all athletes.

Co-curricular Team Sports - Pre-K4

In Regis co-curricular sports, students are exposed to organized athletics through recreational-style games. Learning basic skills, the rules of the games, and good sportsmanship are the goals for these young student-athletes.

Regis' Pre-K4 & Lower School Athletics Commissioner will contact parents during the school year with information on how to register your son for Co-curricular Team Sports.
