Come join us and investigate the world of the T-Rex and all his other his other dinosaur friends. Each day we will read dinosaur stories, sing songs about dinosaurs, and play dinosaur games. All of our little paleontologists will have 45 minutes of quiet time each day to give them the energy they need to explore the world of dinosaurs!

This is a 2-session camp over a period of 2 weeks available for incoming 7th graders. Each session covers different material. A camper may choose to take all camps or only those that fit their schedule. Each camp is separate and does not carry a prerequisite of a prior week’s camp. Topics covered: Simplifying expressions, solving equations, rates, ratios & proportions, inequalities, sequences, linear functions, factoring methods, probability, completing the square, inverse variation, quadratic functions and more! Snacks provided and maybe even a break outside or in the gym (temperature permitting).

Topics covered: fractions and mixed numbers, how to change customary units, percentage, rate and scale drawing, geometry, metric system, GCF & LCM, measures of central tendency, simple interest, sequences, square roots, Pythagorean theorem, functions, volume and surface areas, simplifying polynomials and more! Snacks provided and maybe even a break outside or in the gym (temperature permitting).

Kickin Keyboarding and Over the Top Organization (Rising 5th – 8th )

Are you tired of watching your student peck through a paper with his index fingers? Are his digital files in a disarray and his backpack bogged down with loose papers? This is the course for you. Students will strap in and learn proper keyboarding on home row and tips on how to organize themselves successfully through middle school whether it is with their backpack, their planner, their computer or their bedroom. Students will leave with solid skills they can continue to build on over the summer and a new outlook on organization.

The Digital Dilemma: Software Integration Skills for Students (Rising 5th - 8th )

Students aren’t afraid of trying any new software application, game or social media app. But ask students if they can easily format a school resume, manipulate data from their latest sports game into a spreadsheet, animate a presentation with a TEDx video and related photos from social media, organize a project for a club or create a digital file system and you will get a blank stare and shoulder shrug emoji. Yet these are some of the most basic skills students need to be able to leverage to succeed in high school, college, at an internship or future job. Ditch the digital dilemma and register for this interactive class that will teach your student important skills on the most common software applications while integrating study apps straight from their phone and other devices. Each student will leave with their own presentation covering the key takeaways and lessons learned from the class.

Intensive Note Taking (Rising 5th - 8th)

Tighten up your note-taking skills a notch!! This workshop is designed to help students learn different types of note taking strategies while actually make notes useful for studying! Students will also gain confidence with their listening skills while they learn effective note-taking tips. They will discover how to take better notes during lectures, with textbooks, literary works, podcasts, webinars and even when researching online like YouTube. Writing Extraordinary Essays (Rising 5th - 8th)

Learn how to engage your teachers with your writing and not ruin the reading with poor punctuation and grammar or flat conclusions. This writing workshop will focus on the famous 5-paragraph essay that all middle school students should be able to write while not losing their voice in their writing. Students will also gain confidence in writing essays under the pressure of the clock. Topics that will be covered include idea generation, thesis statements, punctuation, essay directives, leads, conclusions, transitions, and proofreading. Course fees include student workbook

Campers will explore all aspects of Roman life including: foods, attire, architecture, the military, and leaders through a variety of hands on activities. For example, we will rebuild famous Roman sites, cook a traditional Roman recipe, recreate the explosion of Pompeii and finally, conclude our camp with the running of our own chariot races and a great feast!

For example, we will rebuild famous Roman sites, cook a traditional Roman recipe, recreate the explosion of Pompeii and finally, conclude our camp with the running of our own chariot races and a great feast!

Sports Camp for Soccer: Get Ready to Play Soccer for Regis Middle School

Attention rising 5th and 6th graders! If you intend to try out for the Regis soccer team, this is the clinic for you! Join Manchester City F.C. Coach, David Puro and TTi Sporting Director Lee Cullip and their staff for the TTi Bluebonnets WPSL team to sharpen your skills in dribbling, passing, shooting, and team play to get ready for fall tryouts and the 2018 Regis Middle School soccer season. Start the season strong with skills and time with your future teammates and coaches. Students who are interested in trying out for the team in the fall are encouraged to attend this training.

The Digital Dilemma: Software Integration Skills for Students (Rising 5th - 8th )

Students aren’t afraid of trying any new software application, game or social media app. But ask students if they can easily format a school resume, manipulate data from their latest sports game into a spreadsheet, animate a presentation with a TEDx video and related photos from social media, organize a project for a club or create a digital file system and you will get a blank stare and shoulder shrug emoji. Yet these are some of the most basic skills students need to be able to leverage to succeed in high school, college, at an internship or future job. Ditch the digital dilemma and register for this interactive class that will teach your student important skills on the most common software applications while integrating study apps straight from their phone and other devices. Each student will leave with their own presentation covering the key takeaways and lessons learned from the class.

HTA Study Skills & Note Taking Back to School Boot Camp (Rising 6th - 8th)

This signature course is designed to kick off the semester on the right foot and help students improve their study habits in the areas of organization, time management, goal setting, note taking, reading comprehension, test preparation and understanding learning styles. The course is a system for success not only for academics but also for life. Instructors keep students actively engaged and attempt to incorporate aspects of the middle school curriculum at the student’s respective school whenever possible to make the course even more applicable. Students who have taken an introduction to study skills will benefit from this deeper dive. Parents often state how important they feel this course was for helping their student transition well in high school and college. Students say the course is fun and helpful and that they would refer it to their friends. Course fee includes a student workbook and feedback.

Kickin Keyboarding and Over the Top Organization (Rising 5th – 8th )

Are you tired of watching your student peck through a paper with his index fingers? Are his digital files in a disarray and his backpack bogged down with loose papers? This is the course for you. Students will strap in and learn proper keyboarding on home row and tips on how to organize themselves successfully through middle school whether it is with their backpack, their planner, their computer or their bedroom. Students will leave with solid skills they can continue to build on over the summer and a new outlook on organization.

Our program offers your son and your daughter the opportunity to play, explore, improve, and grow while relaxing and enjoying the day with friends.
