Juliet Mousseau, RSCJ, completed her doctorate in historical theology at Saint Louis University in 2006. After teaching at Saint Louis University and the University of Dallas School of Ministry, she entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in 2009. She served as a professor of church history at the Aquinas Institute of Theology from 2012 to 2021. She has published on the twelfth-century Abbey of Saint Victor as well as contemporary issues in religious life. She made her final profession as a Religious of the Sacred Heart in January 2020 and became the Vice President for Academic Affairs at the Franciscan School of Theology in 2021. Her most recent book is a biography entitled St. Madeleine Sophie Barat: Leadership in a Divided World (Paulist, 2025). Sr. Mousseau currently serves on the board of trustees at Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart in Houston, Texas.

Sr. Causey is a social justice advocate and educator who holds a MA in Education Administration, a MTS in Theology, and a PhD in Religious Studies with a specialty in Social Ethics. Sr. Causey taught and was an administrator in Network schools for 16 years both as a lay person and a religious and taught Social Ethics and Catholic Theology at Georgetown University as well as Manhattanville College, where she also served as Academic Dean and Head of the Social Outreach Center.

After serving on the Provincial Team for the United States-Canada Province, Sister Causey worked for two years in Rome where she served on the planning team for the renovation of the Villa Lante to transform it into a Conference Center for Lay and Religious Formation around Social Justice and mission related issues. She served as Director of the Center for a year during the opening of the Center. She is currently working as a consultant with the Network Office on the development of a curriculum resources for the integration of Catholic Social Teaching, The Goals and Criteria, and current Society of the Sacred Heart documents as tools for analyzing and acting on social justice Issues.  

Mark Potter is in his eleventh year as a faculty member in Religious Studies at Newton Country Day School of the Sacred Heart (Boston, MA), where he teaches Catholic Social Teaching and World Religions. He also serves on the school's Mission & Ministry team, overseeing Community Service & Outreach and helps to direct the retreat program.

Prior to NCDS, Mark spent over a decade with the Jesuits, animating social justice ministries across the West province. His work focused on empowering parishes, schools, and universities to address issues related to migrants and refugees, urban poverty, and criminal justice reform. He was a founding member of the Kino Border Initiative. He also directed efforts in socially responsible investing and helped to guide several lay volunteer organizations including the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, the Ignatian Volunteer Corps, and the Ignatian Solidarity Network.

Mark holds a Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from Boston College, with research focused on the spirituality and praxis of solidarity in the Catholic social tradition. He also earned a Master's Degree in the Humanities from the University of Chicago. He is married to theologian Kristin Heyer (Boston College), and they have two sons.

Sr. Maureen Glavin, RSCJ entered the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1988, the year Sr. Rose Philippine Duchesne was canonized. Maureen has served as a faculty member and school administrator in Houston, Texas at Our Lady of Guadalupe School; in Miami, Florida at Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart; and in St. Charles, Missouri at Academy of the Sacred Heart. 

Prior to entering the Society, Maureen worked in a medical school research lab and taught math and science at the secondary level in Tanzania, East Africa. After 3 1/2 years in Tanzania, Maureen returned to the states and continued teaching Math and science in Hoboken, New Jersey. 
 
From 2018 – 2021 Maureen served as a member of the Provincial Team for the United States-Canada Province.  Most recently she has served the International Society as a member of the Leadership Team in the Society’s District of Indonesia. In that role she was also a member of the Transition Team for the new province of South East and South Asia (SE-SASIA).  After having been in Indonesia for 3 years, Maureen returned to the States in June of '25 to serve on the USC's Provincial Team while residing in Cambridge, MA.  

Sr. Melanie A. Guste, RSCJ is a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart-United States-Canada Province. With her doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in “Human and Organizational Systems,” Sr. Guste has been extensively involved as a consultant to religious, government, educational institutions, and nonprofit entities at the local, state, and national levels. Her areas of focus include educational consultation, coaching, facilitation, mediation, and professional writing.

Sr. Guste served as the Headmistress of The Academy of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans, Louisiana for seven years from 2014-2021. Immediately, prior to this service, she served as a member of the Provincial Team of the Society of the Sacred Heart, and as the Director of Planning for the United States-Canada Province. She has served as a teacher and administrator at Schools of the Sacred Heart in both Grand Coteau, LA and Schools of the Sacred Heart in San Francisco, CA. While serving as a Head of School, she served as  the Chair of the Independent Schools of the Southwest (ISAS) of the Accreditation Visiting Team for the Regis School of the Sacred Heart in Houston, TX.

Sr. Guste has served on the Board of Trustees at Schools of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau and she is currently serving on the BOT of Stone Ridge Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in Washington, D.C.  She served on the Sacred Heart Commission on Goals (SHCOG) for many years, and as Chair of multiple Visiting Committees. Currently, she serves on the Commission for Sacred Heart Education as Chair of the Education for Mission Committee. Sr. Guste has been a guest presenter at several conferences of AMASC and the AASH, and statewide organizations. 

Sr. Guste has earned three Master’s degrees in: “Educational Administration and Supervision” from Loyola University, “Applied Spirituality” from the University of San Francisco, and “Human and Organizational Systems” from Fielding Graduate University in Santa Barbara, CA. Her doctorate was awarded in 2006 from Fielding University. She is certified for life as a School Principal in the State of Louisiana, as a teacher of Social Studies and English. 
With a long history of service in nonprofits and work with vulnerable populations, she has recently been appointed as the Director of Justice, Peace, and the Integrity of Creation, or JPIC, for the United States-Canada Province working closely with her religious sisters, Associates and other partners in mission to advance this important dimension of the Apostolic Priorities of the Society of the Sacred Heart. 

A native of New Orleans, Sr. Guste attended the Rosary from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade with her five sisters. She is a lifelong swimmer and guitar player, and passionate about eco-sustainability facilitating a national group of 74 members called Healthy Waters and Coastal Restoration.
