Hybrid Learning

Regis is planning for a fully in-person, on-campus experience for the 2021-22 school year.

As we strive to deliver all the benefits of a Sacred Heart education centered on the Five Goals to our students, we must be nimble in providing a hybrid model of our program if it is needed. In the event that a fully in-person, on-campus delivery of the curriculum is not possible, and a fully remote learning program is not ordered by the State of Texas, the hybrid model will go into effect.

This model will be utilized when cohort groups or other segments of our in-house program must quarantine or socially isolate for the required 14-day period. Each of these situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis as they occur with our medical team and the assistance of the Harris County/Houston Health Department.

This model utilizes the technology tools Regis has at its disposal to extend the reach of the classroom beyond the physical space on campus. A collection of real-time access to students, with technology tools that enable lessons to be presented synchronous and asynchronously, will keep students up to date with the daily delivery of the curriculum. Faculty and staff are trained to monitor and track the progress of our Regis students so that individual attention and conferencing is made available to them.

Regis has invested in technology and the professional development of our teachers to continue to deliver The Regis Experience regardless of the location where the learning and teaching takes place.
