Summer Programs

Our camps are led by certified teachers and experienced instructors, many of whom are part of the Regis community. Each instructor brings a passion for teaching and creating memorable summer experiences for every camper.

Yes! Campelot is a co-ed, welcoming knights and maidens to join in on the adventure! Campelot is also open to non-Regis students. Be sure to tell your friends!

Summer dress code is more relaxed. Appropriate shorts and t-shirts are fine; it does not need to be a Regis spirit shirt. We ask that they wear tennis shoes. No flip-flops or sandals please. 

Campers should bring a water bottle each day. Please label the water bottle with your child's name.

We provide lunch and snacks for all campers, prepared by FLIK Independent School Dining, the same team that provides meals during the school year. If your child has specific dietary needs, they are welcome to bring their own lunch and snacks.

No cell phones, laptops or iPads will be allowed except for the Middle School level camps where laptops are used during the camp. Students may be given permission to use the teacher’s classroom phone if a phone call needs to be made. 

A nurse is on duty during summer camps. If your child becomes ill, the nurse will contact the parent/guardian listed on the student's camp form to arrange for the student to be picked up. Please note that if a student misses a day or multiple days of camp, no partial refunds will be given.

To notify us of a late arrival, to pick up early or report an absence, please text 832-303-8164. The number is monitored Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. during the weeks of summer camp. You can also email the Director of Auxiliary Programs: Pam Weikel at pweikel@theregisschool.org. The Regis front office is not available during the summer to handle summer camp matters. 

Yes! Morning drop off begins at 7:45 a.m. Knight Shift Extended Day is available immediately following the end of Campelot until 5:00 p.m. daily.

All summer camps, except for Pre-K3 and Pre-K4, will use the Whispering Pines semi-circular drive for drop off and pick up. Please approach from Shadyvilla Lane. 

Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 will drop off and pick up at the front of the school. Families with campers across multiple grade levels should drop off and pick up on Whispering Pines. 

We want Regis to be the right fit for every camper that comes to camp. We recognized that we cannot cater our experience to every possible need. As such, we hope to provide support and remove any barriers for all campers. We do ask that if your camper takes medication for any condition during the school year, including ADD & ADHD, they continue to take the medication while attending the summer camps. 

Payment
Transactions are considered final upon full payment. No refunds or exchanges will be issued. However, if minimum enrollment criteria are not met, Regis reserves the right to change or cancel any course, camp or program. Parents will be notified as soon as possible of this situation and refunds will be issued for camp sessions changed or cancelled.

The Regis School of the Sacred Heart admits students of any race, color, religion, nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded and available to students at the school. Regis does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational, admission or financial aid policies.

Dress Code
Appropriate summer school attire is required. All students must wear shorts, T-shirts, socks and tennis shoes. No sandals or flip-flops please!

Absence
To report an absence, please text 832-303-8164 and leave your child's name and the classes that will be missed. We will notify the instructor(s).

Student Responsibility
The Regis School of the Sacred Heart expects its students to maintain an honorable standard of behavior. Stealing, possession or use of alcohol, drugs or tobacco, cheating or dishonesty will result in a student's dismissal. Regis also reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is disruptive to her/his fellow classmates or to Regis. The Regis handbook of rules and responsibilities applies to the Summer Program.

Camps are contingent on at least five students registering.

Ten campers are required for a camp to go forward unless otherwise stated on the camp description.

In the event of camp cancellation due to inclement weather such as hurricanes, flooding, tornadoes or severe storms, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED. This policy ensures the continuity of our program and allows us to maintain high-quality operations. We will make every effort to communicate closures promptly.
