On Thursday, January 21, fourth grade student Logan C. represented Regis in the third–fifth grade Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Regional Spelling Bee held at St. Anne Catholic School. Logan finished sixth in the bee, placing ahead of 30+ other students from local Houston Catholic schools. Logan’s last word, ‘legalese,’ eliminated him from the competition. He very much enjoyed traveling to St. Anne to compete, and he said his favorite part of the bee was “getting words right!” Logan is proud of where he finished at the bee, and the entire Regis community is proud of him too!

In December, Logan beat out nine other Regis third–fifth grade students to win the opportunity to represent the school at the Archdiocesan bee. He won the Regis bee in the nineteenth round with the championship word ‘activists.’
