Regis Plan for Re-Opening & Re-Entry 2020-21
Educator talking to family on first day of school

As promised, today we are sharing with you our most up-to-date plan for Re-Opening & Re-Entry for the 2020-21 school year. Per our email in June, we have outlined three possible learning scenarios for the upcoming school year: On-Campus Learning, Hybrid Learning and Enhanced Remote Learning. You can view the plan on our new Re-Opening & Re-Entry webpage or download a PDF of the plan here.

Please watch this brief video introducing our plan:

As of July 15, we are planning in this still fluid moment for:

  • On-Campus Learning on the first day of school, August 13, 2020. A great deal of time, care and concern has gone into preparing for this next school year. The importance of gathering and being together as a Regis community is vital to our Regis Experience. Our Regis students need each other and their teachers, administration and staff to rebuild community after our abrupt on-campus closure in March. I'm eager to welcome each and every Regis student back to campus.
  • The Re-Opening & Re-Entry webpage will be your main source of information for Regis' plans for the 2020-21 school year. As is with everything in our world during this pandemic, we recognize the need to be nimble and flexible with our plan to best protect the health of our students, faculty, staff and families. Revisions to the page and learning plans will be updated whenever new information is available. When updates are made you will be informed immediately.

We are guided by the health and safety of all as we move forward, and undergirding that focus is also our reliance on God's grace and wisdom. We also rely on the wisdom of our Sacred Heart charism and the words of St. Madeleine Sophie Barat, RSCJ, "How immense God's love is! It will call for boundless self-giving on your part."

Regis wishes you continued blessings through the summertime.
