Before & After School Care
MORNING BEFORE SCHOOL CARE - THE SUNRISE SHIFT

The school can only assume responsibility for students arriving between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. if they attend The Sunrise Shift Program. Students will be supervised by a faculty member in the Library for a fee of $10.00 per morning which will be added to the student’s tuition bill. Families also have the flexibility to register and pay for The Sunrise Shift on a semester basis.

EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM - THE KNIGHT SHIFT

After school care is available daily.

Registration is available online through the parent portal. For further information, please email Pam Weikel, Director of Auxiliary Programs, at pweikel@theregisschool.org.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

Students are not allowed on the campus after hours at any time without adult supervision.

The Regis handbook of rules and responsibilities applies to The Knight Shift and The Sunrise Shift.

Halloween

The Middle School Student Council organizes and communicates the dress requirements for first through eighth grade. Pre-K and Kindergarten students observe Halloween by dressing in costumes (non-violent, no masks) and special activities.

Lunches & Snacks
LUNCH PROCEDURE

FLIK Independent School Dining offers hot lunches prepared on-site, Monday through Friday, and lunch is included in the price of tuition. Families that wish to send lunches for their sons are welcome to do so. Any family that does not want their son to eat a cafeteria lunch should communicate this expectation with their son; every boy is allowed to go through the serving line, and Regis staff will not be responsible for removing from the line students whose parents prefer for them to eat a lunch sent from home. Parents must communicate their son’s food allergies to the homeroom teacher and the clinic. There are several students who are allergic to tree nuts and particularly peanuts. Therefore, we ask parents to be mindful about packing nuts in your son’s lunch/snack.

Microwaves are reserved for second grade and up. Please send only foods your child can adequately heat for one minute or less (with minimal supervision). Regis does not accept outside fast-food/restaurant deliveries from parents or services for students. We ask that parents only join their son for lunch on their son’s birthday.

SNACKS

Parents may send healthy snacks and drinks (water, preferably, no soft drinks, coffee, or other caffeinated beverages) to their son(s) each morning.
