Biker Policy
A biker is defined as a student arriving to or leaving the School on a bicycle or scooter without supervision. A Biker Release Form must be completed by a parent and will be kept on file. All students biking to school must wear a helmet. Students arriving on bike or scooters must enter and exit the Milestones parking lot via the Westview entrance/exit. Students arriving to campus must dismount prior to entering the gate and walk their bike or scooter to the rack. It is recommended that bikers lock their bikes on the bike rack. Regis is not liable for stolen bikes or scooters. Please contact your son’s division head for a biker release form.

Carpool Tips
CARPOOL SIGNS
Each family will receive two (2) copies of color-coded carpool signs. These signs will be distributed either at orientation or on the first day of school. If you need extra copies, please contact the front desk. Place these signs in the front windshield of your car upon entering the carpool line for pick up. Please keep the signs displayed until your son reaches your vehicle for safety and identification purposes.
CARPOOL ETIQUETTE
You may not enter the carpool line on Whispering Pines any earlier than your son's pick up time. This ensures a proper flow of traffic.
NO CELL PHONES
The carpool line is a no cell phone zone.
APPROVED PICK UP LIST
Any changes to your son's approved pick-up list must first be submitted through the Veracross Parent Portal. After submitting the change in Veracross, please send a follow-up email to your son's homeroom teacher/advisor and copy Ms. Olivia Robles (orobles@theregisschool.org), Executive Assistant to the Head of School and Front Desk Manager, as well as your son's Division Head to ensure everyone is aware.
If the change is being made after 12:00 p.m. on the day of the adjustment, please complete the above steps and then call the front desk to confirm receipt.
KEEP IT MOVING
Keep the line moving. Pull all the way forward in line. Carpool line is not a time to ask a faculty member lengthy questions.
CAR SEATS
Boys still in car seats cannot be buckled into the seats by faculty or staff due to liability issues.
LATE PICK UP
If the carpool line has ended before you arrive, your son will go to after school care. Please follow the instructions located in the Whispering Pines Carpool Line for The Knight Shift pick up.
Carpool & Traffic Management
Traffic in the Regis parking lot is ONE WAY ONLY. At all times, vehicles enter the parking lot via the Antoine Street entrance only and proceed through the parking lot to drop off children at the walkway near the front door. Exit only via a right turn onto Westview Drive. As a courtesy to others, please park only in designated parking spaces, not in the driveway in front of or near the entrance. Please respect reserved parking and designated handicapped parking places for those who need them.
For the safety of everyone, parents must remain in their cars during drop off and pick up. Teachers will load and unload students from the passenger side of the vehicle.
To avoid traffic jams and for safety and good order, please observe the following:
- For student safety, the entire school block is a “no cell phone” zone.
- Parents must utilize the carpool line and will not be allowed to walk up to pick up students through the carpool door.
- Parents must seatbelt their own children.
- Carpool is not conference time. Please make arrangements to speak with teachers at an alternate time.
- If you are a Lower School parent who accidentally arrives at 3:35 p.m. or after, please proceed to carpool via Shadyvilla, the designated Lower School carpool route. Merge in with the Middle School carpool line - do not cut. There is a grace period if you are running late.
Students may not be left alone in the parking lot area either before or after school. Regis does not assume responsibility for students brought to school prior to 7:30 a.m. (unless in the Morning Extended Day Program) or remaining on campus after 3:45 p.m. (unless in The Knight Shift Program). Teachers are on duty from 7:30 a.m. through 3:45 p.m. Students on campus at any other time will be sent to Morning Extended Day Program or The Knight Shift Program at their parents’ expense. Student supervision for children outside of the regular school day will be arranged and billed to the parents’ account.
Drop Off Schedule & Information
Before 7:30 a.m.
Parents have the choice to either register for the full semester through the parent portal or use the drop-in option, which is available in blocks of 10 drop-in visits for $100. When your son attends Sunrise Shift as a drop-in for the first time, your account will automatically be charged $100 and credited with 10 drop-in visits. That initial visit will count as the first, leaving nine drop-ins to use as needed throughout the semester.
Between 7:30 a.m. - 7:55 a.m.
*New for 2025-26: Kindergarten now included in the Milestones carpool drop-off location.*

Do not drop off your son in the Whispering Pines carpool line before 7:30 a.m. and leave him there alone. Students should not exit their vehicles until faculty or staff arrive to begin carpool. This is extremely unsafe and your son will not be in the care of anyone during this time.
After 7:55 a.m.
Students arriving at 7:55 a.m. or after will need to be dropped off in the Milestones Building carpool line regardless of grade.
After 8:15 a.m.
Students arriving after 8:15 a.m. must have a parent sign them in with the receptionist in the Milestones Building. This means parents will need to park and walk their son(s) in.
